This police officer was passing by a street, and he happened to be just where he was needed.
One hound was left alone outside a house in Chile, and he was in the midst of trouble. The pooch got himself tied up with a piece of the cloth canopy used to block sunlight in their patio, and he couldn’t get himself out from it. He tried biting the fabric to remove it, but it was just too hard for him.
The good thing was Second Lieutenant Giovanni Donke of Carabineros, happened to pass by the area. He spots the pooch yelping trying to get some help as the cloth was stuck tightly unto his body. Mr. Donke, without any hesitation, backs up his car to rescue the dog.
He jumps onto the trunk; then he climbs the fence.
When he finally got inside, he slowly approached the pup. And using a knife, he cut off the cloth.
At first, the pooch was unsure and continued biting the cloth, but after a few more cuts by Mr. Donke, he was at last released! To his delight, he launched himself to the policeman, and it was just sweet!
The Chile national police expressed their appreciation to Mr. Giovanni, posting on their page how much honor he brought to the whole force. The Chilean police now will not only be known as men who protect the lives of the people, but also ones who are ready to lend a hand for an animal in need!
We salute you officer for your heroic act! And we hope that your story also moves others to be of help whenever an animal is in trouble!
Don’t miss sharing this story with your friends to spread thanks to Lieutenant Donke!
