Shiba Inus are good-natured and affectionate dogs. Their majestic and powerful stance is prized among dog lovers. However, these pups can also be fun and goofy. And apparently, they also love to smile!
One Shiba Inu in Japan proves just that. Meet Uni, a nine-month-old Shiba Inu, who has a lot of smiles to give. While toys and cuddles can get him to smile, what actually makes him the happiest is food!
You’ve read that right. This pup can’t stop smiling whenever there’s something tasty and scrumptious in front of him, whether it is a bowl of pasta or a glass of smoothie.
A pretty chill dog in general
Uni’s owner says that the pup is beautiful not only because he loves to smile – it is also because of his general physical attributes. He has short and tiny legs that have white paws, and this makes him look like he’s wearing socks.
His owner documents his adventures and lifestyle via Instagram. When you scroll through the photos, you will see that he is a pretty chill dog. His owner describes him as a well-behaved dog, someone who knows how to be quiet. In fact, Uni stays calm and does not bark when he is in public with his human. Hanging out with him is surely stress-free.
Uni the foodie
As seen on his very own Instagram account, Uni can be simply described as a big foodie. His smiles together with different dishes and drinks are simply cute.
His owner says that when it comes to food, Uni is not picky at all. He actually loves everything, most especially potato sticks.
However, should you decide to give your dog some potatoes, experts advise that these should be boiled or baked. Make sure it that it does not contain anything; fried potatoes, such as fries and chips that have butter or salt are not healthy for pooches. In case your dog has diabetes, potatoes are to be avoided, as they may cause blood sugar spikes.
