An owner of a dog named Max was very proud of him.
The dog was alert when an uncommon incident happened in their home. It was Friday afternoon, and they were resting.
Max heard a strange noise.
When he searched where it was coming from, he saw a stray cat lying on the ground. He immediately thought that he needed to call for help, so he awakened his owners. Laylany, Max’s owner, said that he was barking so loudly that moment. He was also scratching at the door to catch their attention.
They immediately woke up and found Max by the door. When they opened it, they saw the stray cat whose head was trapped in a food wrapper bag. She was desperately crying for help while her head was tucked inside it. She was struggling to breathe, so Laylany’s father removed the food wrapper bag immediately.
After they helped her, she ran off until they could not see her any longer. Laylany appreciated Max’s heroism because he didn’t hesitate to help someone in danger at that moment. He called for help right after he saw her condition. If he didn’t notice the stray cat, it would be dead by now due to suffocation.
The cat was thankful to him, too, and someday Max would be repaid for his kindness. Laylany believed that he was brave and helpful; he was willing to help someone in need. That incident made her love him more because he proved that he was a kind dog. If he saved other animals, he could save Laylany’s family from any danger as well.
Dogs were natural born heroes; in fact, they could risk their own lives for the sake of others. They were always willing to help someone without any hesitations. Laylany was fortunate for having Max in their family. He was also favored because they trusted and supported his instinct to save someone in danger.

Last night around 2am my dog would not stop barking, so we got up to see what he was barking at & it was because there was a poor cat being suffocated by a bag of chips someone left on the street 😭 my dad ended up removing the bag. pic.twitter.com/PEOtJDQAcc
