Victoria Stilwell is once again stepping into action to correct the behavior of an irresponsible dog owner. Her client this time is a guy named Daniel, he has a family and two aggressive dogs. Will he learn to step up before things get out of hand?
Sasha and Digweed are the two dogs that Daniel owns. He says he loves them but also that he can’t trust them. They fight all the time, and he’s afraid someone is going to get bitten sooner or later. Daniel’s wife shares the same concern.
Victoria saw several alarming signs displayed by both the dogs and the owners. First, the parents are allowing their son to play with Sasha using a wooden sword. According to Victoria, that is a recipe for disaster. When Sasha growled at the baby, it had everyone worried.
After giving the couple a stern lecture, Victoria set out to prepare the solutions. She had dog fences installed on two doors. Safety was the primary concern in that household. She also taught Daniel how to make the dog associate time out with something positive.
Victoria then went and gave a lecture to Daniel’s son. She bought a stuffed toy dog to show him what not to do with Sasha. The boy learned quickly and appreciated what Victoria taught him. From that point on, the boy will no longer use a wooden sword to play with Sasha.
After Victoria left, it was up to the parents to make sure every rule was followed. They broke a few rules laid out by Victoria at first. When she came back, she reminded the couple of the rules they were breaking. Also, Victoria gave a stuffed dinosaur to the son, Ethan. It was a way for him to stop hugging Sasha.
At the end of the week, the family learned to follow the new protocols. Victoria became confident that everything will improve moving forward. Daniel has finally learned to step up.
