There are many reasons why raising a malamute is a good choice. Here are some of the most obvious.
Malamutes are fun to have in the house. These dogs don’t cause too much headache as huskies do. They won’t cause you premature wrinkles.
Malamutes are good for cuddles. These dogs have such soft fur hugging them feels like hugging a pillow from Bed Bath & Beyond.
Malamutes shed only twice a year. That’s a good enough bargain for having a pup with a thick comfy fur that doubles as a pillow.
But there’s one downside to raising a malamute. These dogs are too needy. They consistently crave for attention, just like the malamute in our featured video.
In the video, we meet a brown malamute that looks bigger than his human. Despite his immense size, however, this malamute thinks he’s a baby. And because he’s a baby, he deserves undivided attention.
Yes, our malamute, named Phil, is too needy for his own good. He’s not satisfied with just having his human around, hanging out in the backyard. He needs bottomless belly rubs too.
Thankfully for Phil, his human is more than willing to indulge his neediness. Well, if we were Phil’s human, we’d probably do the same. Phil looks so adorable he could get away with anything.
That includes being needy as heck. He’s the exact opposite of the cat in the video. Since we don’t know this cat’s name, we’ll call her Snooty.
Snooty does not have a needy bone in her body. She likes to be left alone. She does not need belly rubs to feel good about herself.
Phil, on the other hand, does not want to be left alone. Well, that’s why you choose a dog over a cat in the first place. You are most likely needy too.
