Bikers have their fair share of stories on the road. Brandon Turnbow has seen it all – his bike rides are usually eventful, and nothing surprises him anymore.
One afternoon, while he was out on his usual bike ride, he saw something appalling at the side of Highway 171. Brandon witnessed a man beating a helpless dog. He knew he had to step in.
In a Facebook post, Brandon said he couldn’t stand seeing the dog being abused. The biker slowed down and pulled over next to the cruel man who continued beating the dog up. Brandon went after the guy, but he got away. He threw the dog down and ran off.
Brandon did not bother running after the bad guy and focused his attention on the poor victim of abuse. The frightened dog was still yelping in pain when Brandon approached him. The biker made sure not to scare the dog even more, so he closed in on him carefully. In a heartbeat, Brandon brought the dog home with him and decided to adopt him.
Brandon named his new pet as Mr. Davidson – from the famous motorcycle brand. The dog adjusted quickly to his new life with Brandon. He loves to just sprawl across the couch and sleep! Mr. Davidson also loves eating – as he now enjoys things he did not experience with his old owner.
Brandon decided to use Mr. Davidson’s tale as a way to help abused animals across America. With Mr. Davidson as his co-pilot, Brandon wanted to spread awareness on animal rights protection. So he decided to spearhead “BAAANG” or Bikers Against Animal Abuse National Global.
Together, Brandon and Mr. Davidson encourage other bikers to join their cause and help save other abuse animals on the road. Brandon said they would love to help out other dogs off the streets and give these animals a chance to live a life they deserve.
