Bali, Indonesia is best known for being a top tourist destination. However, this small resort island is also home to countless dogs that don’t have a home. The strays living in Bali spend their days trying to survive by scavenging for food, and many get sick.
A puppy named Casey was found on the streets of Bali. She was so weak that she couldn’t even walk. Thankfully, volunteers from an animal rescue organization called Little Steps Matter found Casey just in time and immediately took her to the veterinarian.
Casey was a weak little dog but her rescuers had hope that she was going to make it. After only a few weeks in their care, Casey transformed into a happy and energetic puppy who is very social and loved to play.
Despite everything that she’s been through, Casey still trusts humans and loves everyone she meets. Eventually, she was adopted by a woman named Olga who is also a teacher and runs a small school on the island.
Olga stated that the moment she first met Casey, she felt something very special about her and instantly fell in love. Olga and Casey became inseparable. They both love going to the beach and spending hours playing on the sand and water. Now, Casey loves running and is probably one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever see.
Whenever Olga goes on a motorbike ride, Casey always gets excited. She loves the feeling of the wind on her face and watching people as they pass them by. Olga also takes Casey to her school where she’s loved by the children. Every time Casey visits a classroom, the children instantly become excited.
Casey teaches Olga’s student kindness and she’s considered an important member of the school. Thanks to the kindhearted people who rescued her, she finally got the chance to live a happy life. Here’s a video showing Casey’s heartwarming story.
